George E. Zobitz is a Partner at Cravath, where he serves as the Managing Partner of the Corporate Department and Co-Head of the Finance Practice. Since joining the firm in 1995 and becoming a partner in 2002, he has developed a distinguished career focusing on complex syndicated loan and direct lending transactions, including acquisition and leveraged finance, asset-based lending, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate representations. Mr. Zobitz has represented major financial institutions such as JPMorgan Chase Bank and Credit Suisse, as well as numerous high-profile borrowers including Viatris, WestRock, and Qualcomm. His expertise has earned him recognition from Chambers USA, The Legal 500 US, and other prestigious legal directories. He holds a J.D. cum laude from New York University.
