Scott A. Edelman is a Partner at Milbank LLP and serves as Chairman of the firm. As a member of the Litigation & Arbitration Group, he specializes in high-stakes litigation and trials across various areas, including securities, commercial, media and entertainment, and white-collar defense. Edelman has taken over 20 cases to trial and argued numerous appeals. Notable cases include representing SoundExchange in a proceeding before the Copyright Royalty Board and successfully defending Auven Therapeutics against a billion-dollar claim. He has also represented high-profile clients such as NVIDIA, BMI, and Vereit, Inc. Edelman began his career as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York and holds degrees from Harvard Law School and Yale University.
