Charles Ruck is a Partner at Latham & Watkins, based in New York City and Costa Mesa, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate governance. As the Global Department Chair of the firm's Corporate Department, Charles serves as primary outside counsel to numerous public and private companies, advising on complex strategic corporate governance matters. His notable experience includes representing boards of directors and special committees in activism, stockholder matters, hostile takeovers, and going private transactions.
