Alan Mason is the Global Managing Partner at Freshfields, based in New York City and San Francisco. As a key member of the firm’s Global Leadership Team, he plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving Freshfields' global strategy. Alan focuses on strategic growth, evolving the firm’s operating model, and leveraging its global platform, technology, and talent to deliver innovative solutions for clients. With a robust background in Corporate, M&A, TMT, and Technology, he has advised on complex matters such as cross-border M&A, regulatory challenges, and digital transformation. Previously, Alan served as Freshfields' Global Client Partner, advocating a client-first approach. A dual French and English national, he has built a vast network across Europe, the US, and beyond.
