Nicole Mesard is a Partner and Deputy Presiding Partner at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City, where she leads the Real Estate Group. With a focus on real estate law, she advises on acquisitions, sales, financings, joint ventures, and restructurings, including in bankruptcy. Ms. Mesard is also Chair of the Hiring Committee and Co-Chair of the Global Talent Initiative, and contributes to the Liability Management & Special Situations team. A Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, she lectures at Columbia Law School. Her expertise is recognized by Chambers USA and The Legal 500 US, with clients praising her practical advice and negotiation skills.
