Luca Bernini is of counsel at the London office of Gibson Dunn, where he is an integral part of the Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice Groups. With a focus on cross-border private equity transactions in Europe, Luca brings over a decade of experience as a corporate lawyer in Italy to his role. He is triple-qualified in England & Wales, New York, and Italy, and actively contributes to the firm's Italian practice. Luca's expertise extends to venture capital and growth equity transactions, adhering to NVCA and BVCA standards, and he has significant experience in white collar investigation-related diligence. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, he honed his skills at Cleary Gottlieb in both London and Milan. Luca holds a law degree with honors from Università Commerciale L. Bocconi and a Master of Laws with honors from Columbia Law School.
